Porter’s Five Forces

Porter’s Five Forces

Porter’s Five Forces is a framework for judging competition in an industry and how profitable that industry is likely to be. The five forces are rivalry among firms already there, the threat of new competitors entering, substitutes that meet the same need, buyer power to push prices down, and supplier power to raise costs. Stronger forces make the industry less attractive.
