The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is the U.S. agency that takes complaints about scams, deceptive ads, and unfair business practices. Report a job that makes you buy a starter kit, or an ad that promises a result the product cannot deliver. Save the ad, the messages, and a record of what you paid. The FTC also looks at companies that try to block competition.
