Canada Revenue Agency

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is Canada’s federal tax agency. You file your federal return with it, and many refunds and benefits are paid through your CRA account. Quebec residents still file federally with the CRA, plus a provincial return with Revenu Québec.

In the United States the counterpart is the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The CRA will not demand gift cards, crypto, or your password by phone, text, or email. Open canada.ca or your CRA account yourself.
