Aide financière aux études (AFE) is Quebec’s student-aid program. If you live in Quebec, you apply to AFE rather than the Canada Student Grants and Loans program. Aid can include repayable loans and non-repayable bursaries. During full-time study, the Quebec government pays the interest on an AFE loan while you remain enrolled.
