Predatory Pricing

Predatory Pricing

Predatory pricing is a price set so low, sometimes below what the product costs to sell, that rival businesses cannot match it and leave the market. A large store pricing below cost until a local shop closes is a common case. The low price is temporary. Once the rivals are gone, the price can be raised.
