Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

A flexible spending account (FSA) is an employer account that lets you pay qualified medical bills with money set aside before income tax. For example, an FSA can pay a doctor visit, glasses, or a prescription. You usually need to spend the money by the end of the plan year. An FSA also stays with your employer if you leave the job, while a health savings account (HSA) stays with you.
