Line of Credit

Line Of Credit

A contract between a lender and borrower that promises that a certain amount of money is available for lending. The borrower can spend this borrowed money until a certain day or other trigger, at which point the amount that was spent is converted into a loan that must be paid back. Any amount in the line of credit that was not spent is returned with no interest to the lender.
