The National HBCU Stock Market Challenge Is Finished - Here Are The Results!

After several months and over 4000 total trades, the HBCU Challenge has finished! After our audit of all results, here are the winners!

StockTrak Awards

The StockTrak awards are based on the top 3 performing portfolios across the entire challenge. Winners must have also completed the Personal Finance lessons included as part of the challenge to be eligible for prizes (see Official Rules for prize eligibility). The StockTrak team will reach out soon to each winner shortly for prizing information.
 
  • First Place - Anderson Moore of Florida A&M University
  • Second Place - Brenda Bermudez of Prairie View A&M University
  • Third Place - Pele Rankin of Elizabeth City State University
 
StockTrak also awards a Personal Finance Site License to the top overall performing university - meaning the combined performance of all participants from each university. This award goes to Tuskegee University.

Additional rewards are available from FactSet. The top 3 Juniors/Seniors overall will receive pre-interview coaching and a fast-track final round interview for full-time employment with FactSet post graduation.

The top 3 Freshmen/Sophomores will be invited to a 1-2 day internship in the FactSet office closest to them, where they will spend the day with a FactSetter for job shadowing and what the day-to-day work is like. These students must also present resumes upon request.

One additional award is available from RiseDisplay. The university with the highest average student performance also receives a complimentary one year subscription to the RiseVision MarketWall, including training and design.
